CAN I BE A PATIENT?
Betty’s services are specialized for those ages who have started their period or are 13+ who identify as female or were assigned female at birth.
AM I TOO OLD FOR BETTY’S CARE?
Our patient population ranges up to 65 years old. However, given Betty’s focus for care is for women+ from period to pregnancy, we are not equipped to manage care for patients in peri or post menopause. We can provide basic gynecological services and help refer you to a provider who can assist you with all your needs!
ARE Y’ALL TRANS INCLUSIVE?
Betty’s is an inclusive provider and can provide gynecological services to individuals assigned female at birth, inclusive of trans and non-binary individuals. Betty’s can also provide gynecological services to trans women who have received gender affirming care.
CAN I SELECT YOU AS MY PCP?
We are not a primary care provider (PCP), but we can support your overall wellness, especially your gynecological care. For general medical concerns like acute illnesses, diabetes, asthma, or psychiatric care, we recommend seeing a PCP. However, our providers are happy to offer guidance and recommendations for your healthcare needs!
DOES BETTY’S PROVIDE OB SERVICES?
No. Betty’s Co. care specialty is from periods up to pregnancy planning. If OB services are needed, Betty’s will compassionately coordinate a patient’s care to an obstetrician.
HOW CAN I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
Download the Betty’s Co. app to get started! After creating your account, select the care you need to access our appointment calendar. Browse dates, filter by location or provider, and select a time that works for you.
Once you’re booked, get ready by completing your Check-In items, which includes insurance, medical history, and a detailed patient questionnaire so our providers can get to know you!

CAN I CHOOSE TELEHEALTH OR IN-PERSON FOR ALL BETTY'S VISITS?
Mental health and wellness visits are available for virtual appointments only.
Depending on what GYN care is needed, choose the visit type that is most convenient for you! Read our appointment descriptions(link to care page) to help you select the type of appointment to book.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY?
A $25 fee applies to cancellations or missed appointments within 24 hours of your scheduled time. We know life happens! Need to cancel? Just send us a chat, and we’ll help you reschedule.
I’M A PARENT. CAN I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT FOR MY BETTY?
Sure can! Once you’ve downloaded the app, create an account and book using your teen’s name and information!

DO YOU ACCEPT MEDICAID?
Yes, we are in network with some Medicaid Plans. We can verify your benefits to see if we are contracted with your plan.
HOW DO I FIND MY INSURANCE PLAN TYPE?
Your insurance card is a great place to start! Look for a label or acronym like PPO, EPO, POS, or HMO. This tells you the type of plan you’re enrolled in.
HOW CAN I GET AN ACCURATE OUT-OF-POCKET ESTIMATE FOR MY VISIT?
No one likes a surprise bill. We always recommend calling your insurance company before your appointment. You can find the member service’s phone number on the back of your insurance card and ask what will be covered and what you’ll owe. If there’s a balance after your insurance pays its part, we’ll send you a bill.
HOW MUCH WILL MY APPOINTMENT COST?

If you’re using insurance, your specific cost will depend on your insurance plan and the services you need. We always recommend contacting your insurance company to understand what your plan will cover.
WILL MY APPOINTMENT COST INCLUDE LABS?
If you choose to pay out-of-pocket, we negotiate to get you the best lab prices possible. Just know that any lab tests your provider recommends will be a separate charge outside your appointment cost. But you’ll always know the price upfront before we collect any labs!

WILL MY ANNUAL VISIT BE COVERED BY MY INSURANCE?
This can get *pretty* tricky. Your insurance typically covers one well-woman visit each year. Suppose any concerns or issues that require additional services beyond that visit are uncovered during that visit. In that case, it might be considered a separate appointment by your insurance, and you might have extra costs.
WILL BETTY'S CHECK MY INSURANCE ELIGIBILITY BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?
Yup, we’ve got you! Before your appointment, we’ll verify your coverage and benefits and determine Betty’s is in network with your plan. Just make sure you submit your insurance ASAP before your appointment so our team has time to run a benefits check.
HOW DO I KNOW IF I OWE ANYTHING FROM MY APPOINTMENT?
It alllll depends on your insurance plan. Once your insurance has processed the claim, we’ll send you a bill for your portion. Generally, if you have an HMO, your insurance card will show the amount due next to Specialist. For PPO plans, you’ll likely pay a percentage of the bill.
WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We are a cashless clinic! You can pay using a Credit/Debit card or your HSA and FSA card.

Just give us a call and we can walk you through it. We’ll break down the bill and look into how your visit was billed to insurance so you understand what you’ll owe.

We never want cost to be the barrier to your receiving care. Betty’s offers affordable rates if you want to be billed as a self-pay patient. We also offer payment plans. Contact our team so we can work with you!
